What do you really want to know about me? That I’m passionate about photography? (Duh!) That I like blue Skittles, hummingbirds and yellow roses? (Who doesn’t?) That my son’s first word, in an obvious attempt to achieve favorite child status over his twin sister, was“shoe?” (That’s pronounced “schwa”)
That’s what the marketing experts think you want to know. I think you want to know why you should hire me. In this crowded marketplace, when anyone with a good smartphone thinks it’s easy to become a professional photographer, what can I do for you?
The answer, in a word, is everything. Most important, though, I can make you look fabulous.
I’ve been in business for 10 years, but I bought my first film SLR in high school a loooooong
time ago. I know all about posing and and depth of field and bokeh and fill light and ETTR and HDR and backlighting and color spaces and Gaussian blur and…well, you get the idea.
I want to make the process easy for you. So I’ll do all the work finding beautiful outdoor locations in and around Princeton, N.J. or cozy spots in your home. Or I’ll welcome you to my studio, housed in a century-old mansion in Pennington. I’ll recommend the time of day that provides the perfect lighting, wrangle your kids and make wardrobe suggestions. You won’t have to lift a finger. Really. You also won’t have to worry about who is or isn’t smiling/ behaving/standing still/ looking /not looking, because that is how I capture images that are spontaneous and real and that amaze and delight my clients.
When you choose me to photograph you, your family, company or event, you have my undivided attention before, during and after the session. I want you to love your photographs. I want you to look at them and smile every day for the next 100 years! My goal is to present you with memories that will make you cry tears of joy. Guaranteed.
So contact me. You’ll be happy you did.
(And if you really want to know, I was a newspaper reporter, photographer and editor for 20+ years, I have grown twins and a house bunny named Pepper. I also like puzzles, peppermint LifeSavers and wildlife refuges. My favorite color is, hmmm, all of them!)
